he was so nice to me this day! (and so was his daddy, actin’ a fool and sneakily depositing fruit snacks into walker’s mouth) still can’t believe how much he gave me in 15 minutes. must have known that nightly story we read all december about giving gifts to show our love would work out in his favor! happy birthday baby jesus!

ah, bellingham. i was so focused on praying for no snow on “mini” day that i’m sure God had a giggle at my panic of the pouring rain! but it ended up being a highlight of our trip. i was honored that this mama took me up on a mini after having just shot their family back in march. these boys are to die with the dark hair and eyes to match. and all big brothers could take lessons from cole, he’s a class act.

for the opposite giant hallway wall, i wanted something i could change easily. i settled on hanging a current series of photos. this one is from w’s first trip to the ko’olina lagoons were he stayed in the water (after these shots) for almost 2 hours. we have a water baby on our hands. the hangers are from ikea ($1!!!) and are mounted on the wall with command strips. those suckers and i have become bffs. i didn’t mention last time that i also reenforced the frames from the other wall with command strips. i love that i could use the full wall and little hands wouldn’t cause disaster. now for somethin’ on the floor to make the hallway complete…
