i got to meet the precious bundle inside on friday, but it just not right to skip ahead. so part one of a 3 and a 1/2 member family. there were too many to post so keep an eye out for part two.
congrats kallin’s - audrey is perfect, just like her big sister.

dropped by friends tonight and it was magical. lots of things to let a puppy burn off stored up energy. this was the first game tonka participated in. i think our midwest friend jackie would be proud.

we picked him up tonight and he’s already had his first speed trip to pet ’smart on the way home. they loved him so much they didn’t even care that we got there 10 minutes before closing.

so, have you seen it yet? doug hooked me from the first trailer i saw… and for weeks leading up to the movie’s opening trev and i would interrupt each other with “SQUIRREL!”. i adored this movie. as in ugly-cry-laugh-till-it-hurts-watch-over-and-over-again-till-it’s-memorized, adored.
something else i adore….? newborns.

{sigh}

this shoot was a long time coming. a couple months ago i was dying to shoot in the cherry blossoms. between life and searching for the perfect location… the pink came and went. the first sighting of yellow in the fields and i was on it! i was lucky enough to have the perfect models waiting in the wings. as i downloaded images tonight, this was one of the first frames-much more to come.
kallin’s, thanks for being patient with me! and making my white couch/pretty flowers vision come true.
and thank you to bets for coming to play and being fabulous distraction for some couple shots. and one more shout out to the husband~thanks for coming home from work, and going straight to work.

i couldn’t help it. she emailed and said she found the love of her life. we had such a wonderful time last year, i just had to say yes!

i adored my time with this family. the most heart warming part of this job is being able to feel how a family feels about each other. there is no doubt this little man is loved. purely and unconditionally.
oh, man. do you see that lip? and those curls?
