sometimes you just know. the moment you click the shutter, you’ve got something your heart will do flips over. while capturing some necessary 6 month shots, i asked if we should take a little walk and get a family shot.

i’m also in love with this family - the mama is the talent behind my little man’s rad nursery. you’ll get peeks next post if he doesn’t interrupt by deciding to get this show on the road.

pretty sweet that we planned our photo girls get away at almost 33 weeks - which is when i tell clients belly pictures are the best! it’s rare to find someone that loves to be in front of the camera but we don’t give each other an option so i came home with these and i’m thankful for them. little man has grown some since then!

i might be getting old… i’ve known these beauties since the oldest was 3 - before the youngest was born! and now i have pre approved babysitters for my little man. we’re already taken up their offers for tonka, we’re so spoiled. we did a quick shoot for them to surprise their parents and i hear we succeeded. love you ladies.

i have never seen the inside of an am/pm more than i have while being pregnant. (heck, i haven’t been in the parking lot as much since my high school days and $.99/gallon!) an icee is the only thing i could count on to settle my stomach the first 6 months and still… they just solve everything.
another rad thing i love? this application for my phone. makes all my phone pics look radder! and i get to shake it, shake it like a polaroid picture.

ugh! i can’t stand how to die for the gap’s little man clothes are! and i’m not the only one because every time i find an outfit that i feel the need to stock till it goes on sale, it disappears - this stuff sells out like nobody’s business. it’s like zuzu pets for new mommies 
baby fox has a monster theme going on (wait till you see his room!) so when this line came out i had to give in. i can’t wait for the box to arrive!
thanks to grandma shore and auntie manda - their first shopping trip included some plastic to fund my obsession. but to keep our pocketbook safer maybe i’ll just have you all stock with me… look out for more of my favorite things on the blog.

a few weeks ago i was spoiled with an awesome baby shower. sister manda and my good friend jackie put on a bad ass party that could have come out of a magazine. there are no words to explain what it was like to have ladies i love in one room. yes, we got some fantastic loot for our little man, but friends came from out of town and others helped by bringing yummy food to share and there is no question God has blessed us with the raddest people to share life with. a girl needs a good box of kleenex on days like this. (and depends for all the laughing!)

this is the cute couple we shot on our girls weekend. they put up with the 4 of us working off each other and taking turns. not how a usual shoot goes - but then again, could have been even more fun! my favorite part of a couple’s shoot is seeing their connection and it was a blast to see these two together. they were crackin’ each other up - us too.

had an extra long weekend with these ladies - just what the doctor ordered. we spent some time in the city and then got to stay in this gem on camano island. tami, maggie, jessica and i filled our time with lots of girl talk, photo walks and even shot an engagment session together… how would you like to have your own paparazzi like this…?
maggie caught us in action… including the headlock z is giving his future bride. more to share but i made a promise to this couple so back to editing i go!
