sneak:emma. seattle newborn photographer
a small preview from a quick session i did a couple weeks ago. it was more like a visit than a session. my kiddos were in heaven playing downstairs. they are suckers for a train table - we recently swung into yeagers and now they ask to go back almost daily. the same is for eli's house now... but a run down to seattle is harder than yeagers. ha!
this mama was one of my middle schoolers when i worked with a youth group after i graduated high school. she's a kindred spirit, it's not surprising we share the same birthday. and now we have babies in the same age group... crazy. i feel blessed that we stayed in touch all these years and it's so heartwarming to see her as a wife and mama - in such a beautiful season of life. one with so much more contentment that the middle school years bring, right? so many memories we share of goofy and fun times. road trips - she loved being the dj and could rarely listen to a song all the way through. first crushes, code words, and kidnapping friends for surprise birthdays. i loved every minute of hanging with a rad group of girls.
a house full of light and kindness it was a dreamy visit. playroom messing, baby snuggles and a walk to the neighbor bowling alley for dinner. one of those fall evenings for the books.
from middle school, photographing their wedding and now being able to capture their family growing... it fills me up to keep reconnecting. we also have experienced a full circle moment as her mama is walker's preschool teacher. emails back and forth, his teacher wrote how i had invested in her baby's life and now she gets to invest in mine. oh the mama tears.
i'd love to photograph your newborn arriving at home, click here to chat more.
